Unisex label Enfants Riches Déprimés, French for ‘depressed rich kids,’ is the passion project of Atlanta-born designer Henry Levy. Blending the louche attitude of 1970’s punk musicians with the deconstructionist sensibilities of Japanese avant-garde designers, the brand’s unique mix of DIY-inspired details and tongue-in-cheek graphics embody what Levy describes as ‘elitist, nihilistic couture.’ Specializing in luxe streetwear basics, the label’s selection features distressed graphic t-shirts, shredded intarsia knit sweaters, and destroyed denim skinny jeans. One-of-akind vintage leather jackets, painted and embellished by hand in the designer’s L.A. studio, serve as the line’s statement-making centrepieces.
